I really enjoy this coffee maker. The timer is great. Would recomend to anybody. Simple to program and operate.

When we opened the box for the Coffee machine we were surprised there was a peanut shell inside!! Apart from this the machine has done exectly what it says on the box. It makes coffee and it keeps the resulting coffee hot. The only thing different we do is we purchased the paper coffee filters to use in the plastic filter which we find a lot easier to get rid of in the compost bin/or garden!!

I read the reviews on this machine and saw some who said it stopped working after a few weeks. I thought i will take a chance. Made nice coffee for about 3 weeks then just stopped working!!!!!AVOID this is going in the bin because it annoys me to look at it I will definatley heed reviews in future.

For a cheap coffee Machine this is just brill makes good coffee very quick just cannot fault it highly recomend to any one.

Although it does look and feel very tacky, it did do they job, well for 6 months before it stopped working completely and De'Longhi refused to replace it as I us the machine in my studio and not a home. Avoid at all cost.

I don't drink coffee but my wife does. We have previously had a cheaper model from De'Longhi which was great for filter but the espresso side was never used and by the time I tried it was gunked up. The materials used in this version seem much more substantial, easier to disassemble for cleaning and make it seem much more value for the extra money without costing over 100 like a lot of coffee makers. The taste is apparently good and I can vouch that the machine is easy to use. It is not as hassle free as any cartridge system, you have to heat the machine and cups for espresso for example and this time (as we live in a hard water area) I will be filtering all water that goes into the machine and keeping the machines filters and pipes clean. All the filters I have had to take apart and clean are well designed so it is easy to access and clean them to keep in good condition. Not the most hassle free way for good coffee but well worth the money.

Thanks the De'Longhi BC0261 Pump Combi Coffee Machine is great my husband has mastered the art of espresso and cappuccino although the milk frothing does take a bit of practice, my only criticism is the picture always shows the machine with two cups ours arrived without the cups so we are on the hunt for some as it is important that the cups are the correct size and shape. We live in a very hard water area and this has been our downfall in the past, but we are prepared this time and have invested in the De'longhi descaler which is expensive, haven't needed to use it yet so can't report on it's effectiveness.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my coffee loving boyfriend and he loved it. It's really easy to use and the coffee is brewed quickly - looks well in the kitchen.

We were sent this as a replacement for a BCO255 which had been working well until it developed a couple of faults after only a couple of months' use (faulty run off switch and leaking) and couldn't be replaced as it was obsolete. Generally this new machine performs well and my only two gripes are; that the milk frother is all plastic and only sticks out at 45 degrees in one position meaning you can't get a very large receptacle under it. The frother on our previous model was rather more flexible (plus the arm was metal and more robust) so I don't know why they changed the design. Also the coffee filter arm has this little clip which is supposed to hold the coffee filter in place while you turn it upside down to get rid of the used coffee, but in practise it's so fiddly to hold and tap the coffee out at the same time, and doesn't do the job - well not for me anyway! An improvement is the permanent filter instead of having to use filter papers. It's rather large and plasticky looking but I suppose at the price this is what you get - it makes a decent cup of coffee though. Updated - after less than two months' use this machine has been returned for repair, due to a leak from the boiler outlet!
