The product is reasonably well made and occasionally needs its joints refastening, but it is just really an extremely useful piece of kit and comes in handy when you need precise soldering. This is an absolute must for anyone who does soldering or crafts.

One of the most useful tools around to assist with soldering operations,; not only does the magnifier make the viewing and placing of small components much easier, but careful use of the croc clips means that it can also act as a heat sink when soldering, so protecting delicate electronics as a bonus.

This is great for doing any detailed work/repairs, I bought it to fix watches and for detailed work has crocodile clips on either side of the t-frame which has ball joints for greater flexibility and movement, and the unit is held down by a heavy but proportionate base . The clips are handy for making your work/repairs etc hands has a good magnifying glass which is fine for any detailed tool has unlimited uses and is excellent value for will be hard pressed to find anything similar for this kind of money.

This arrived on time and is adequate for the purpose we bought it for. I wouldn't necessarily call it 'heavy duty' though.

xmas pres for dad who will keep it in his 'nicer' non-workman car, says it should be sturdy enough for using as a hammer and very useful as a tiny emergency style kit if out and caught short. nice little device.
