This is great for doing any detailed work/repairs, I bought it to fix watches and for detailed work etc.It has crocodile clips on either side of the t-frame which has ball joints for greater flexibility and movement, and the unit is held down by a heavy but proportionate base .The clips are handy for making your work/repairs etc hands free.It has a good magnifying glass which is fine for any detailed work.This tool has unlimited uses and is excellent value for money.You will be hard pressed to find anything similar for this kind of money.

This arrived on time and is adequate for the purpose we bought it for. I wouldn't necessarily call it 'heavy duty' though.

The older one gets the less we worry about what people think of us and the more we want to be able to do what we want in a way of working that suits us. This product is an invaluable third hand, and with the addition of a magnifying glass even the smallest detail of ones work can be seen easily. Brilliant for modeling and electronics assembly. My primary use is with 'N' gauge railways and for the small detailed work that requires, this is invaluable. Very stable and well worth the price. If there is a down-side the magnifying glass could be larger by 2cm.
