Following the 2005 dissolution of the revered Glasgow based indie rock group the Delgados, singerguitarist Emma Pollock ventured out on her own, signing a deal with the renowned 4AD label, and issuing WATCH THE FIREWORKS in '07. With its moments of driving guitar lines and crashing percussion, Adrenaline sounds like it could have been on a latter day Delgados album, while the meditative Limbs points to a more subdued aesthetic for the Scottish performer, allowing the spotlight to shine on her beautifully expressive voice.
